Sonata Software PAT up 71%

Sonata Software on Friday reported a 71 per cent increase in its profit after tax at Rs 8.75 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2006.

NEW DELHI: Computer software products developer Sonata Software on Friday reported a 71 per cent increase in its profit after tax at Rs 8.75 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2006.
The company's revenues for this quarter grew by 46 per cent and stood at Rs 43.8 crore, a company statement said.
About six new clients were added during this quarter, it said.
"We have witnessed growth over the last 12 consecutive quarters due to the success of our organic growth strategy," Sonata's President and Managing Director B Ramaswamy said.
