Software testing jobs portal launched

City-based Thatavarti Technologies, one of the leading players in the fast growing software testing market in India, formally launched "world's first" testing jobs portal, www.jobs4testing.com.

HYDERABAD: City-based Thatavarti Technologies, one of the leading players in the fast growing software testing market in India, on Saturday formally launched "world's first" testing jobs portal, www.jobs4testing.com.

The portal's panel of experts will collect and evaluate resumes, schedule and conduct intereviews and hold certified software tester's resume in the database, thus offering ready-to-employ software testers to companies, company officials said.

Arun Kumar, CEO of Banglore-based Step-In Forum, which is a body of Software Testing practioners in India, while addressing the professionals at a meeting after the launch, said India would need about two lakh testing professionals by 2010.

The worldwide testing market is estimated at USD 14 billion while the size of the testing market in India is estimated between Rs 150 crore and Rs 200 crore, Vijay, CEO of Syscon Solutions said.
