SHAREit appoints Jason Wang as MD, India and VP for emerging market

SHAREit, a social content sharing platform has appointed Jason Wang as managing director, India and Vice President for emerging market.

Wang started as a journalist and worked with media industry for over 10 years, according to a release. From being a reporter for International news division, he later on went to become the chief correspondent for South Asia. Thereafter, he was the editor-in-chief of digital publications in Southeast Asia as well as the Director for Overseas Social Media Management. Wang joined SHAREit in August 2017.

Wang said, “We have also observed that Indian users mostly prefer sharing video content, music and less apps and games. We at SHAREit aim to enable the local consumers through partnership with local partners.”
