Satyam ties up with GigaSpaces Tech

HYDERABAD: Satyam Computer Services has tied up with GigaSpaces Technologies, an infrastructure software solutions provider, to offer end-to-end solutions for service-oriented architecture and grid environments.

While GigaSpaces will provide software, Satyam will deliver implementation and IT services expertise in its partner’s software products. Founded in ’00, GigaSpaces has offices in New York, London and Israel.

The results will include low-latency, scaleable solutions that will be useful for companies that rely on high-volume transactional applications, according to a company statement. Satyam is also establishing a centre of excellence dedicated to grid technology.

Based out of Chennai, it would provide professional services and develop proof-of-concepts for the customers. “Organisations in financial services, telecom, and other industries need applications that can address high-throughput, high-performance transactions with a scaleable architecture.

GigaSpaces provides the infrastructure software that enables rapid construction of such applications, reducing time to market and cost,” said Satyam director (consulting and enterprise solutions) G B Prabhat.
