Satyam saga: PC Gupta trashes Spice allegations

NEW DELHI: Minister of corporate affairs Prem Chand Gupta on Monday took a dig at Spice Corp���s BK Modi for alleging lack of transparency in scam-hit Satyam Computer Services��� bidding process to find a buyer.

���What do we say... the whole thing (bidding process in Satyam) is being supervised by a retired Chief Justice of India...I don���t know (if) we have to get a person from space to satisfy persons like him (Modi),��� Mr Gupta said, when asked about Spice���s allegations of lack of transparency in the bidding process to find a suitor for Satyam. The bidding is being overseen by retired Chief Justice SP Bharucha.
