Satyam may provide SAP solutions to TechM clients

HYDERABAD: Satyam Computer Services expects to provide SAP solutions to domestic and international telecom clients of its new owner Tech Mahindra to boost revenues and restore financial viability. State-owned BSNL, BT (formerly British Telecom) and AT&T feature in the list of TechM���s clients.

The two firms are also hammering out an arrangement to loan each other���s associates at a cross-charge to improve operational performance. ���Tech Mahindra has a dominant presence in the telecom space and we would like to tap their customer accounts for providing SAP solutions. We are also planning to leverage on their talent pool and are in the process of framing the rules of cross-charging to ensure that neither of us lose out on revenues,��� Manish Mehta, director & senior vice president, SAP & Testing Practices told ET.



The government appointed board of Satyam declared TechM as the new owner of Satyam after it bid the highest to buy a majority stake in the beleaguered IT firm. While Satyam will remain a stand-alone entity, the two companies will be able to use each other���s manpower.
