Satyam chief receives Frost & Sullivan Leadership award

HYDERABAD: IT services provider Satyam Computer Services' Founder and Chairman of Ramlinga Raju has been awarded the prestigious Frost & Sullivan Excellence in Leadership award for 2008.

The award was presented last night by David Frigstad, Chairman of the Board of Frost & Sullivan, at the 2008 4th Annual Growth, Innovation and Leadership Congress in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

"I am delighted by this award, which underscores Satyam and the Satyam Foundation's guiding philosophy to continue to be contributing members of the social and economic communities they inhabit." Raju said.

Instituted 45 years ago, the Frost & Sullivan Excellence in Leadership award recognises individuals who have demonstrated outstanding leadership skills within their organisation and industry, the release added.
