HYDERABAD: A local court today posted the matter to June 1, on CBI's plea for examination of former chairman of Satyam Computers B Ramalinga Raju, through video conferencing in connection with the multi-crore financial fraud in the IT firm.

As the presiding officer (judge) of the Special court trying the Satyam scam cases is on vacation, the case came up before a local (in-charge) court which posted the matter to June 1.

Investigating agency CBI had recently sought permission of the court to establish video link with the Nizam's Institute of Medical Sciences (NIMS), where the prime accused Ramalinga Raju is admitted, to expedite the case as he was not attending court proceedings since September last year on doctor's advice.

The court, meanwhile, extended the judicial remand of all the ten accused including Raju till June 1.

Except Raju, all the accused were produced before the special court trying the Satyam scam cases today.

Meanwhile, the petition of former CFO of Satyam Computers Vadlamani Srinivas, who had sought permission to undergo eye tests at a private hospital, also stood adjourned to June 1.
