SAP, KPIT Cummins in joint go-to-market partnership
Technology solutions provider KPIT Cummins Infosystems today said it has entered into a joint go-to-market partnership with SAP India.

MUMBAI: Technology solutions provider KPIT Cummins Infosystems today said it has entered into a joint go-to-market partnership with SAP India. The partnership brings together KPIT Cummins' deep domain expertise in automotive and industrial machinery verticals with SAP's high-performance enterprise software platform to benefit customers in their globalisation initiatives, a press release issued here stated.
The company will establish a dedicated Centre of Excellence for SAP solutions to the automotive industry. SAP India will leverage KPIT's strengths in business intelligence (business objects platform) and governance risk and compliance to leverage the aggressive growth of these solutions. SAP India's President and CEO, Ranjan Das, said, "SAP is proud to be associated with KPIT to address the vibrant automotive industry in India. This alliance will help create opportunities for KPIT while corroborating the expertise of SAP to build efficient solutions."
Through this partnership, SAP is confident of delivering equitable value to its customers, he added. Chairman and Group CEO of KPIT Cummins, Ravi Pandit, said, "This partnership with SAP holds strategic significance for us in our endeavour to become a leading solutions partner to the automotive and industrial machinery verticals." The centre of excellence would co-innovate industry-specific SAP solutions thus enabling profitable growth for its customers, Pandit said.
