Saksoft Q1 PAT up 50%

IT solutions provider, Saksoft Ltd on Wednesday posted a 50% increase in profit after tax at Rs 2.31 cr for the quarter ended June 30, as compared to Rs 1.54 cr for the corresponding quarter in 2005-06.

MUMBAI: IT solutions provider, Saksoft Ltd on Wednesday posted a 50% increase in profit after tax at Rs 2.31 cr for the quarter ended June 30, as compared to Rs 1.54 cr for the corresponding quarter in 2005-06.
Revenues grew to Rs 7.52 crore (excluding one time interest on IPO proceeds) for the first quarter in 2006-07, up 43% from Rs 5.27 cr in Q1 Y05-06, the company informed the National Stock Exchange.
The company's consolidated turnover in the first quarter rose 16% per cent to Rs 12.8 crore against Rs 11.03 crore in the same quarter in FY 05-06.
During this quarter, the company said it had got four new customers, mostly in Europe.
"Broad basing the client base and reducing dependence on few select customers have started yielding results and in the process we have built an excellent sales pipeline," the company's managing director Aditya Krishna said.
Saksoft's clients include banks like Citibank, Development Bank of Singapore, Transunion, HDFC Bank and ABN Amro.
