Ramco bags order from Adani Group

Ramco System says it has bagged an order for the automating inland container depot (ICD) from Adani Group.

NEW DELHI: Leading enterprise application provider, Ramco System on Monday said it has bagged an order for the automating inland container depot (ICD) from Adani Group.

Ramco would provide streamlining services to the ICD operations of Adani Group, who had recently setup the largest ICD in India. It would cover all the core business processes of container terminal management for Adani Group's container yard across the country.

"The complex nature of Adani's business required real time information about critical business and operation parameters so as to have to efficient control," Ramco Systems VP (Enterprises Solutions) Chetan Pathak said in a statement.

It would offer a ground up Ramco Business Process Platform (BPB) based on terminal operating system to Adani Group that would take care of the train planning, yard management and terminal stuffing for exports and imports of the company, the company said.
