Ram Mynampati to be interim Chief Executive Officer
Ram Mynampati, a whole-time director on the board of Satyam Computer Services, will be the interim Chief Executive Officer, said a top official at Satyam.

HYDERABAD: Ram Mynampati, a whole-time director on the board of Satyam Computer Services, will be the interim Chief Executive Officer, said a top official at Satyam.
"We just had a conference call with Ramalinga Raju. He informed us that Ram Mynampati will steer the course for Satyam. The Board meeting is on as per schedule on January 10", said the top official. It is, however, not clear if Mynampati's appointment has to be ratified by the board,
None of the board members, past or present had any knowledge of the situation in which the company is placed. Even business leaders and senior executives in the company such as Ram Mynampati, Subu D, T R Anand, Keshab Panda, Virender Agarwal, AS Murthy, Hari T, SV Krishnan, Vijay Prasad, Manish Mehta, Muarli V, Sriram Papani, Kiran Kavale, Joe Lagiola, Ravindra Penumetsa, Jayaraman and Prbhakar Gupta are unaware of the real situation as against the book of accounts.
The list does not include Srinivas Vadlamani, the Chief Financial Officer of Satyam Computer Services. Raju today admitted that the Satyam accounts were inflated over the past several years. He has since tendered his resignation.
