Raju, four others sent to CBI custody

A lower court on Monday granted CBI the custody of tainted founder of Satyam Computer Services B Ramalinga Raju, his brother Rama Raju, their former CFO Srinivas Vadlamani and Pwc auditors for seven days.

HYDERABAD: The CBI will interrogate tainted founder of Satyam Computer Services B Ramalinga Raju, his brother Rama Raju, their former CFO Srinivas Vadlamani and two auditors of Pwc auditors for seven days starting Tuesday.

A lower court today allowed the CBI to take into its custody the five accused in the Rs 7,000 crore Satyam fraud. The CBI will interrogate them in presence of their counsel. The interrogation will be carried out at the CBI office or at a guest house in the city.

The court also dismissed the bail petition of PwC auditors Srinivas Talluri and S Gopalakrishnan.

The bail petition of S Vadlamani has been posted to March 18.
