Quick Heal appoints Vijay Mhaskar as Chief Operating Officer

PUNE: IT security solutions providers Quick Heal Technologies said that it had appointed Vijay Mhaskar as Chief Operating Officer, effective September 16, 2016. This is a new role at Quick Heal and Mhaskar will be providing leadership to Quick Heal and Seqrite (the enterprise security solutions brand by Quick Heal). Mhaskar joins Quick Heal from Avaya India where he was overseeing the R&D centers. He will be majorly responsible for providing strategic inputs and direction for building the brand, culture and overall business growth. Kailash Katkar, MD, Quick Heal Technologies said; “It is a new phase for Quick Heal as a public company. I am confident that Vijay with his illustrious experience and valuable leadership will drive the organization capability to deliver trusted and premier products. In his new role, Mhaskar will leverage his diverse experience of over 20 years in building accelerated growth strategy in product development, product management, sales, marketing, and support services.

A Gold Medallist in Electrical Engineering with a Masters in Technology from Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Mumbai, Mhaskar is credited with accelerating engineering processes, transforming innovation culture and leading several successful product initiatives.
