Price Waterhouse auditors' bail plea rejected

HYDERABAD: A local court on Thursday rejected the bail petitions of the two auditors of Price Waterhouse S Gopalakrishnan and Srinivas Talluri, accused in the scam at Satyam Computer Services.

The two auditors were named along-with B Ramalinga Raju, the disgraced founder of Satyam, his brother Rama Raju, their former chief financial officer Srinivas Vadlamani and three others in the charge-sheet filed by the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) on Tuesday.

The nine accused were charge-sheeted under various sections of the Indian Penal code for ���criminal conspiracy, cheating, cheating by impersonation, forgery of valuable security, forgery for the purpose of cheating, using a forged document as genuine, for falsification of accounts and tampering evidence���.
