Path Solutions to set up Global Support & Development Centre

KOCHI: Path Solutions India, a provider of Islamic core banking system, is setting up its first Global Support and Development Centre at Infopark Cherthala.

The new office will be inaugurated tomorrow. Path Solutions India is a wholly owned subsidiary of Path Solutions K.S.C.C, Kuwait and is recognised as a market leader specialised in the provision of Islamic and Investment software solutions for banks and financial institutions, a company press release said.

Islamic banking is a banking system that is based on the principles of Islamic law (also known as Shariah) and guided by Islamic economics.

The company already has established presence in the Middle East, GCC, Africa, South East Asia and Europe with over 90 financial institutions using its Islamic core banking system.

IT firms moving to tier II towns of Kerala would help in strengthening ties with local software development communities as well, said Hrishikesh Nair, CEO, Infopark.
