Oracle to offer new suite for financial firms

NEW DELHI: Enterprise software services provider Oracle today said it would provide a new integrated industry specific applications suite for banks, insurance companies and capital markets firms.

The new suite would be provided by the company's Financial Services Global Business Unit, Oracle said in a statement.

"Oracle continues to build on its financial services leadership by delivering new solutions that help empower financial institutions to enhance customer intimacy, build competitive advantage, reduce costs and mitigate risk," Oracle Financial Services Global Business Unit Senior Vice President and General Manager Rajesh Hukku said in the statement.

Oracle also introduced its process integration pack to synchronise front and back end operations in banks, allowing them to speed deployment of complete solutions and accelerate their return on investment, it said.
