Omnitech Q1 net profit up 127%

Omnitech Infosolutions posted a net profit of Rs 8.84 crore for the first quarter ended June 30, 2008.

NEW DELHI: Omnitech Infosolutions posted a net profit of Rs 8.84 crore for the first quarter ended June 30, 2008, a growth of 127 per cent over the corresponding period last year.


The company had reported a net profit of Rs 3.89 crore in the same quarter last year.

The company's net income rose by 77 per cent to Rs 42.53 crore in this quarter, the company said in a release.

"Omnitech's ongoing endeavour to excel in remote infrastructure management and business continuity services has led to enhanced revenues," said Omnitech Infosolutions Managing Director Atul Hemani. "We hope to scale up our operations in the coming quarters through both organic and inorganic routes."

The company is into business availability services, including infrastructure management, application management and performance management services, the release added.
