Omnitech plans to acquire Indian company

IT product and services company, Omnitech InfoSolutions has said it is in the process of acquiring a firm either in India or abroad.

NEW DELHI: IT product and services company, Omnitech InfoSolutions on Wednesday said it will invest about Rs 20 crore to increase its expertise in the domain knowledge and technology sector and is also in the process of acquiring a firm either in India or abroad.

"The company plans to invest Rs 19.50 crore in the next 18 months to leverage its expertise in the domain knowledge, technology and geographical reach through acquisitions and strategic investments", an Omnitech release said here.

Omnitech is targeting companies in India or abroad for acquisitions, which would provide value addition to its existing products and services and offshore opportunities, it said.

It has recently acquired partnership firm Edventure Systems for Rs 45 lakh, which offers performance management services such as software testing, performance and quality assurance, the statement said.
