NPCI introduces next version for BHIM App

National Payments Corporation of India (NPCI) has introduced next version (ie ver 1.2) for the Bharat Interface for Money (BHIM) App and the same is available now on Google Play Store. “The new BHIM version offers enhanced security features and superior user experience”, says A P Hota, MD & CEO, NPCI. The new version is a major enhancement and offers several added features. First, it added 7 more languages (ie other than English & Hindi available now) viz. Odia, Bengali, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada and Gujarati. Second, ‘pay to aadhaar number’ concept introduced and now BHIM users can transfer money to any Aadhaar number linked with beneficiaries’ bank account. Third, it has introduced ‘spam report’ facility to block unknown persons from requesting for money.
