A free app to showcase all the interesting and off-beat happenings that abound in London sorting them into an easy-to-use calendar has been launched in the UK.
The simple-to-use app allows people to select their interests from arts, music, sport, film, comedy, food and drink and free and cheap, the 'Daily Express' reported.
The type of events listed on the app include zombie night walks, insect food markets and late night poetry readings.
The app called MyTime, developed by UK advertising executive Andrew Platt, is aimed at Londoners and tourists to the city alike.
"It was a selfish thing at first as I couldn't find an app that did exactly what I wanted but I hoped other people would want something similar and it seems they do," Andrew said.
"Many people live in the city for years and never hear about some of the fantastic things that go on here so it's great for them but it's also great if you're visiting the city and want to get off the beaten track," said Andrew.
Users can simply click on the day in the calender and the app produces a vast selection of festivities in the city for that date, the report said.
The innovative app appeals to people from all ages as the events vary from opera, plays and poetry readings to raves, rock bands and night food markets.
