Global communications solutions provider Nortel on Thursday announced setting up of an exclusive centre here for the small and medium business (SMB) houses.

CHENNAI: Global communications solutions provider Nortel on Thursday announced setting up of an exclusive centre here for the small and medium business (SMB) houses.
The centre would provide customers a single interface for all pre and post sales support, Nortel India Vice-President Dhananjay Ganjoo told reporters here.
The SMB sector wanted simple solutions to their problems, which Nortel had identified developed solutions for, he said.
The centre would provide solutions to SMB sector all over the country, he said adding 37 clusters of SMB had been identified and the company would concentrate on providing solutions to all of them.
Chennai had over 70,000 small and medium industries and that was why it was selected to establish the centre, he said.
The new initiative was expected to increase the revenue of the company by 25 per cent in the next three years, he added.
