NEW DELHI: The National Buildings Organisation has launched a software for online collection of data relating to housing and building construction activities.
The software, Building Related Information and Knowledge System (BRIKS) was launched yesterday by Minister of State for Housing and Urban Poverty Alleviation Kumari Selja.
BRIKS, which is in English and Hindi, will help to overcome the constraints faced by NBO, which includes timeliness, completeness, accesssibility and visibility of data, an official statement said here.
An e-unit will be up-linked to various state government departments, municipal corporations, municipalities, urban development authorities and research and training institutions.
