MindTree inks strategic pact with Skytap

BANGALORE: MindTree Limited, a Bangalore-based global IT solutions company, announced on Tuesday that it has entered into a global strategic alliance with Skytap Inc, a leading provider of cloud-based virtual lab solutions.
The partnership enables MindTree's customers to scale test labs on-demand through Skytap's virtual lab solution, resulting in "reduced IT costs, accelerated lab provisioning, and effective collaboration among global teams".
"This partnership brings together the best of testing and virtual lab solutions to provide cost-effective, on-demand testing services to our customers", said MindTree Co-head - Independent Testing, Subodh Parulekar.
"Through access to Skytap's virtual lab solution we lead the industry in providing value-added services that make customers' application more scalable and reliable, while reducing the total cost of ownership for IT lab environments".
Skytap provides testing teams with a complete virtual lab solution over the Web.
