Micro Tech ties up with US company

Micro Technologies India Ltd has joined hands with US-based Knowledge Vector Inc to cater to the growing demand for defense and Homeland security products in the US market.

MUMBAI: Micro Technologies India Ltd on Tuesday said it has joined hands with US-based Knowledge Vector Inc to cater to the growing demand for defense and Homeland security products in the US market.

As per the tie-up, Knowledge Vector would customize the high-end security products of Micro Technologies to meet the demand of security solutions in the US market.

The customised version of Micro IBB with knowledge switch would be an ideal aid for department of defense homeland security in the US, Micro Technologies informed the Bombay Stock Exchange.

"We are honoured to support Micro Technologies in becoming even more successful in the American market by integrating our security technology with Micro Technologies high-end disaster products and messaging solutions," Knowledge Vector Senior Vice President and General Counsel Glenn Nozick said.

Knowledge Vector is a provider of complex event processing technology that creates real-time intelligence with broad-market application.

The security software products of Micro Technologies provide security solutions to various kinds of applications like combating any disaster through natural or through human activities.

The shares of the company were trading at Rs 212, up 2.49 per cent on the BSE.
