Megasoft in multi-million dollar pact with US firm
Megasoft Ltd on Tuesday said it has made a multi-million dollar equity investment in the US-based Keystone Wireless, which would enable it to share proportionate revenues of the foreign firm.
Also, the company's telecom unit XIUS has signed a multi-year mobile virtual network operator (MVNO) deal with Keystone Wireless, which would enhance the subscriber experience and competitiveness of the US marketplace, Megasoft informed the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE).
"We are very pleased about our partnership with Keystone Wireless, the company has proven itself as a highly capable operator over many years, and brings a high-quality US nationwide footprint to this MVNO offering," Megasoft CEO GV Kumar said.
The company, however, did not divulge further details about the investment and the deal.
Keystone Wireless would deploy the XIUS VOISE (Virtual Operator Integrated Services Engine) 3.0 convergent platform, the statement said.
"We look forward to replicate MVNO model in Europe and in Asia and will continue to build on our commitment as a global leader in convergent communications technology," Kumar added.
Hyderabad-based XIUS is a global leader and innovator in convergent communication solutions.
