Mahindra Satyam senior VP quits
Keshab Panda, senior vice-president of Mahindra Satyam, has put in his papers, marking another high-profile exit from the tainted IT firm, the erstwhile Satyam Computer Services.
Rakesh Soni, chief operating officer (COO) of Mahindra Satyam, has now been given additional charge of business development and delivery operations of the US market and for the manufacturing, commercial and services verticals, said Sridhar Maturi, spokesperson of Mahindra Satyam.
Pandas resignation comes barely two months after US-based Ram Mynampati, interim CEO of Satyam Computer Services, quit the firm. Mr Mynampati exited after CP Gurnani was named the CEO.
Mr Panda was associated with Satyam Computer Services for over a decade and a half, and replaced Mr Mynampati as president of the commercial and healthcare divisions. Prior to that, he steered the regional business unit (RBU) Europe, manufacturing & automotive (MAG) and the energy & utilities (E&U) verticals.
Other senior leaders who quit the company after its founder B Ramalinga Raju confessed to a multi-crore fraud are Subu D Subramanian head, automotive group, Deepak Nangia, company head, Australia, Naresh Jhangiani, global head of Satyam BPO and Ravi Bommakanti, head of delivery for TIMES vertical in the US.
