Mahindra Satyam BPO bags 5-yr contract with GlaxoSmithKline

Software exporter Mahindra Satyam today said its BPO arm has renewed its existing contract with UK-based GlaxoSmithKline (GSK) for another five years.

NEW DELHI: Software exporter Mahindra Satyam today said its BPO arm has renewed its existing contract with UK-based GlaxoSmithKline (GSK) for another five years.

Mahindra Satyam BPO's relationship with GSK is five years old, and at present, provides high end artwork and design services to the pharmaceutical company, Mahindra Satyam said in a statement.

The Regional Service Center (RSC) at Mahindra Satyam BPO would provide creative logo, production and promotional graphic artwork services to a global customer base of GSK.

"This contract renewal is a reaffirmation of the faith placed by GSK in Mahindra Satyam BPO," Mahindra Satyam BPO CEO Vijay Rangineni said.

Mahindra Satyam BPO's integrated partnership approach and a continued focus on productivity, quality performance and the rapid ability to scale up (production) were cited as the main reason for the contract renewal.

Shares of Mahindra Satyam were trading at Rs 84.05, up by 0.06 per cent at the Bombay Stock Exchange.
