Mahindra Comviva names new market unit head for Europe

NEW DELHI: Mobility solutions Mahindra Comviva Thursday appointed Steve Summers as market unit head for the Europe region, as it aggressively focuses on extending its footprint across the continent to achieve the next growth phase.

“Steve brings with him more than 25 years of experience in sales and management,” Patrick Allainguillaume, global market unit head at Mahindra Comviva, said in a statement.

Summers will be based out of London and will be responsible for formulating and implementing sales strategy for the company in Europe.

“I am pleased to be joining Mahindra Comviva, at a point where opening new markets is one of the key parameters of their growth phase,” Summers said.

Summers is an industry veteran with over 25 years’ experience, particularly in sales management, many of which in the Mobile VAS space. In the past, Summers was SVP of Global Sales at Movius Corporation, a leader in Converged Messaging and next generation mobile applications. He has also held senior executive positions at Neustar, Comverse, Air wide Solutions (now Mavenir) and Open wave.
