Keltron signs MoU with SAP

Keltron signed its first order with Malabar Cements to implement the SAP solution.

KOCHI: Kerala State Electronics Development Corporation (Keltron) has signed an MoU with SAP, a leading provider of enterprise software in the world, to meet the automation needs of public sector units and e-governance initiatives of the state government.
The MoU was signed by Keltron managing director Minhaj Alam and SAP India regional director (south) Balakrishnan Rajagopal in the presence of Industry Minister Elamaram Kareem at Thiruvananthapuram.
Keltron signed its first order with Malabar Cements to implement the SAP solution. The MoU outlines plans for co-operation on various enterprise applications including ERP, HR, Finance, Portal and Collaboration applications.
Mr Alam said Keltron will actively work with SAP to make the PSUs more citizen-focused, business-like and smarter in their use of technology. Keltron is a technology-driven enterprise that manufactures and markets electronic components, equipment and systems for communications, defence, industrial and home applications.
SAP has more than 1080 public sector customers in 70 countries.
