Karnatake CM plans to 'use' Murthy

Chief minister HD Kumaraswamy made a strong pitch to utilise the services of Infosys chairman NR Narayana Murthy, who has stepped down from the executive role of the company.

“It is our intention to use Mr Murthy so that my government can be suitably advised about addressing these aspects of knowledge based industries,” the chief minister said while addressing the 25th year celebration of Infosys in Mysore on Sunday.

Mr Murthy heads the vision group on IT of Karnataka. The chief minister said, “I expect that the vision group would soon meet and under their guidance the Bangalore IT.dotcom 2006 would be organised from October 28-31.”
