Juniper Networks plans to invest $70 mn in R&D

Networking security solutions provider Juniper Networks India is planning to invest $70 million in R&D by the end of 2008.


NEW DELHI: Networking security solutions provider Juniper Networks India is planning to invest $70 million in R&D by the end of 2008. The company also plans to add another 600 people to its over 800 strong R&D team.

Sridhar Sarathy, Managing Director India Operations, Juniper Networks said, "An organisation is as strong and successful as its employees. We believe that our employees' well being has helped us in building great products."

Understanding the needs of its employees, Juniper Networks has undertaken certain employee referrals reaping benefits programmes. Apart from that, Juniper Networks also provide networking devices and helped in setting up the network for the resource learing centres at Akshara Foundation.

The company believes in the growth of their employees and sharing the responsibilities by giving maximum to the society.

India is one of the fastest markets for Juniper Networks, which saw a revenue growth of 120% in 2006.
