Infosys partners with US firm to re-launch website

IT major Infosys Technologies on Thursday said it has partnered with US-based chemicals and plastics manufacturer Eastman Chemical Company to re-launch their website www.eastman.com.

MUMBAI: IT major Infosys Technologies on Thursday said it has partnered with US-based chemicals and plastics manufacturer Eastman Chemical Company to re-launch their website www.eastman.com.
Infosys will help Eastman to design, develop and deploy the site, to give the site a new look, Infosys said.
The site features online comparison of product properties, customised user experiences and information about the issues driving the chemical industry.
"Our website is very important to our global strategy. This is a highly valuable platform that will empower our customers by helping them research, manage and more easily access Eastman's entire portfolio of products," Eastman Chemical Company Vice President (Communications and Public Affairs) Paul Montgomery said.
Eastman's customers require access to a vast array of information -- from molecular characteristics to health and safety requirements -- and by utilising the latest technology, it could provide the necessary information in an interactive manner, Infosys added.
Infosys informed the Bombay Stock Exchange that it was a member of Eastman's strategic supplier programme -- a group of top-tier providers who regularly give the US company insight and ideas on improving its IT services.
