IEL gets ISO 27001 security certification
Software services company, Infotech Enterprises Ltd today said it has received the 'ISO 27001' certificate for its facilities in Hyderabad and Bangalore by BVQI.
The certificate is the latest recognised industry standard over the earlier BS 7799 certification for benchmarking Information Security Management Systems (ISMS) for organisations, the company informed the Bombay Stock Exchange.
"Infotech's commitment to its customers is reflective in its stringent adherence to various quality and security standards across its global delivery centers. More significant is our endeavour to ensure we are adhering to the standards as contained in latest certifications," Infotech Enterprises Founder, Chairman and Managing Director B V R Mohan Reddy said.
With this certificate, the company joined the select list of global IT companies that have been assessed at ISO 27001, it added.
This certificate, outlines the grounds for establishing, implementing, operating, reviewing and improving a documented ISMS within the context of an organisation's overall business risks.
BVQI is a wholly-owned subsidiary of France-based Bureau Veritas and offers certification services of quality management systems.
The shares of the company were trading at Rs 510.35, up 1.16 per cent on the BSE.
