IBM GDC rated highest by Carnegie varsity

IBM India 's global delivery centre has been awarded the highest rating - Level 5 - for the version 1.2 of Capability Maturity Model Integration framework by the Carnegie Mellon University's Software Engineering Institute (SEI).

BANGALORE: IBM India on Tuesday said its global delivery centre has been awarded the highest rating - Level 5 - for the version 1.2 of Capability Maturity Model Integration framework by the Carnegie Mellon University's Software Engineering Institute (SEI).

IBM India GDC is one of the first few organisations in the world of its size and operational complexity to get this credential.

The appraisal process included evaluation of IBM's projects in application services from all six DGDs in India (Bangalore, Chennai, Gurgaon, Hyderabad, Kolkata and Pune), showcasing the company's ability to provide services to its clients globally.

Receiving this accreditation, Rajesh Nambiar, Vice- President and General Manager, Global Delivery, IBM India said: "This prestigious accreditation is a testament to IBM's globally benchmarked delivery capabilities and its leadership in the global delivery services arena."
