Hyderabad to host Indiasoft 2007

HYDERABAD: The Electronics and Computer Software Export Promotion Council (ESC) is organising its annual networking event Indiasoft in Hyderabad. The two-day event, starting on Tuesday, will showcase the achievements of over 90 small and medium enterprises in the IT sector.

"The event is expected to attract over 150 buyers from abroad especially from Latin America, ASEAN and Africa. Considering that the marketing expenditure in these countries is high, it will be a good platform for SMEs to interact with prospective buyers. Last year, the event generated business to the tune of about Rs 300 crore. This year, we expect it to grow further," said Nalin Kohli, chairman of ESC, at a press meet on Monday.
