Hughes enters into partnership with IIBF
Networking solutions provider Hughes Communication has entered into a partnership with Indian Institute of Banking and Finance to offer training and contact programmes for banking professionals on the HughesNet Fusion platform.

NEW DELHI: Networking solutions provider Hughes Communication on Monday entered into a partnership with Indian Institute of Banking and Finance to offer training and contact programmes for banking professionals on the HughesNet Fusion platform.
With a growing demand for courses like JAIIB and CAIIB conducted by IIBF for banking professionals, this partnership would give the institute a pan India infrastructure of 215 locations across 105 cities to reach professionals through an interactive learning platform, the company said in a statement.
As per estimates, close to 50,000 banking professionals opt for JAIIB and CAIIB examinations every year for career enhancement.
IIBF would conduct 20 hours of 'live' contact classes for students enrolled in these programmes on the HughesNet Fusion platform. The faculty would deliver LIVE training sessions from Hughes' central studio in Mumbai and the same would be beamed across all HughesNet Fusion centres in the country.
"The partnership with HughesNet Fusion will now enable us to offer a 'live classroom-to-participant' solution for problem solving to professionals across India by leveraging Hughes' expertise in Interactive Onsite Learning-IOL," IIBF CEO R Bhaskaran said.

HughesNet Fusion is a satellite broadband multi-service superstore that offers end consumers multiple services such as speedy broadband internet access, online education programmes from premier institutes and mobile top-ups.It also offers gaming services, international calling (VoIP) services and option to purchase of books, music, DVDs and VCDs online.
