BANGALORE: HP on Wednesday announced new application transformation offerings designed to enable enterprises drive innovation by delivering application flexibility and speed.

The new solutions enable enterprises to understand their application portfolios, decide what to keep, change or retire, Marshal Correia, Director (Enterprise Services) HP India, said.

Innovation is what separates market makers from market followers and HP aims at helping enterprises accelerate innovation by expanding this Application transformation portfolio to include seven new offerings, he said.

The offerings include HP Application Portfolio Management software, HP Application Transformation Services for Client Computing, HP Cloud Service Automation 2.0 software, HP Exchange Services for Private Cloud and HP Enterprise Cloud Services for Microsoft Dynamics.

The enhanced portfolio allows clients to assess, modernise and manage the applications driving their enterprises, he said. A new research conducted on behalf of HP reveals the role of innovation is important. Ninety five per cent executives in private and public sectors consider innovation to be important to the success of their organisation, he said.

The overall response indicated that application transformation was becoming increasingly critical to address the evolving and challenging business needs, he added.
