Hike launches video story feature, new digital campaign ahead of festivities

MUMBAI: Indian messaging platform Hike Messenger on Friday said that it will offer a video stories feature to its users where they can share videos of up to 20 seconds to be rolled out on December 24, 2016.

Both video and photo stories on Hike will vanish after 48 hours and can be posted on Hike Stories or be shared directly with friends.

The video stories will also provide stickers and live filters like girl Santa, Elf and Christmas tree, Rudolf the Reindeer and Snowman marking upcoming festivities, Hike said in a statement.

Hike will also run its new digital campaign called “Love, Masti, Dosti” wrapped around this new feature which will run on Hike’s Social Media handles. The campaign will include collaborations with top content creators in the internet domain, it said.
