HCL, Sanovi tie-up to provide disaster management solutions

NEW DELHI: HCL Infosystems today said it has tied up with Sanovi Technologies to provide Disaster Recovery Management ( DRM) solutions in the country.
HCL will bundle Sanovi products and software as part of its Systems Integration (SI) deployment for its customers.
HCL will open new business avenues for Sanovi products and solutions with its wide customer base in private and public sector and key government departments, Sanovi said in a statement.
"In today's volatile business environment, Disaster Recovery Management solutions are imperative for the smooth functioning of an organisation's business," HCL Infosystems COO (Enterprise Business Unit) Rajeev Asija said.
Built on standards-based platforms, Sanovi's products offer real-time DR Monitoring, DR Validation, DR Testing, DR Reporting, DR Policies and Automated Failover features, the statement added.
The Disaster Recovery market opportunity is huge in India and the two hope to develop a strong presence in several verticals through this partnership.
The two will focus on India but they will explore other markets and territories as well, the statement said.
"This tie-up helps us to enhance our presence across various verticals including manufacturing, telecom, government, banking and retail," Sanovi Technologies President (Global Sales) Ashish Guha said.
The government market is a key focus area for Sanovi, and HCL is an established player in this space, he said.
