HCL bags order of over Rs 40 crore from SBI

HCL Infosystems on Tuesday announced that it has bagged an order of over Rs 40 crore from the State Bank of India and associated banks to deploy, maintain & service their ATMs. Under the contract, HCL will deploy over 1,000 ATMs and cash dispensers across the country. The ATMs will come with enhanced features such as Braille enablement and support for multi-lingual content.

���We have been focusing on providing innovative banking & finance solutions for the Indian market,��� HCL Infosystems chief operating officer JV Ramamurthy said. HCL Infosystems had earlier tied up with Korean major Nautilus Hyosung to provide ATM solutions to banks across the country. HCL now plans to introduce rural ATMs to be deployed by banks in locations with relatively low transaction volumes.
