Former TCS BPO head Abid Ali Neemuchwala leads race for Wipro COO

BENGALURU: Former TCS BPO head Abid Ali Neemuchwala is said to be one of the leading contenders for Wipro's COO position. The 23-year TCS veteran, who is based in Dallas, resigned from TCS in February.

When TOI contacted Wipro, the company said it had already made public its intent to explore the possibility of appointing a COO, but no decision had been taken. "Any such development will be shared with the public and the media, and writing about such matters will be speculative," a company spokesperson said.

Neemuchwala didn't respond to TOI's query.
