If you love to eat out, you should check out Hoppr. The app can save you a lot of money if you’re not picky about which restaurant you head to.

First, it detects your location using the phone’s GPS and then displays a list of eating joints around you that are offering deals. The list is sorted on the basis of distance from your current location — closest is listed first.

You can even choose to view only cafés, restaurants or pubs depending on where you want to go. Once you select a venue, the app opens up a new page where it displays the various deals or loyalty rewards that the restaurant/café offers.

You can also view details about the restaurant such as address, timings and phone numbers. A couple of unique things about Hoppr: it has its own loyalty programme (you earn additional rewards for spending at select places) and its own digital currency called Hoppr Cash that can be redeemed at select outlets for purchases.

You can earn Hoppr cash by inviting friends to join. The only limitation is that it currently only works in Delhi NCR region — the developers are working on adding more cities.
