NEW DELHI: Developers such as Electronic Arts and Gameloft are offering 60-90% discount on applications to cash in a sudden spurt in downloads as phones, tablets and other gadgets have emerged a lucrative gifting option in the festive season, reports Karan Bajaj.

EA Games such as Need for Speed, FIFA 12, Battlefield, Monopoly and Gameloft’s games portfolio including Iron Man, NOVA 2, Spiderman and other games, usually priced between $4.99-$6.99 are now priced at just $0.99 on the app store.
