DataCore launches R&D center in India; largest after Florida

The centre in India will be led by Vani Sharma as Center Head India & Vice President – Products, DataCore. The company plans to hire from educational institutions as well as laterally from the industry for the center.

NEW DELHI: US based software storage firm DataCore plans to set up a global R&D centre in Bangalore, which will its largest center gloablly after the US. The center in India, is expected to be ready in the net 12 months and willcater to clients across the US and EMEA region.

Rizwan Pirani, Chief Product Officer & SVP Global R&D, DataCore said, "India, and Bangalore in particular, have been the R&D hub for technology companies globally. We see tremendous potential with the impressive diversity of talent in the market, and are committed to making this our second largest R&D center after Florida, in terms of people. We look forward to working with our teams here to spearhead the development of the next generation suite of solutions for our global customers."
