Compuware tie-up with HCL Technologies

BANGALORE: Compuware, industry leader in enterprise software and IT services, on Thursday announced a partnership agreement with India's HCL Technologies.

The partnership would focus on India's fast growing IT governance opportunities, combining Compuware's IT portfolio Management, Application Development Management and IT service Management solutions capabilities with advisory and implementation services capabilities of HCL's IT Transformation practice, Bob Donald, VP Partner Business Development, told reporters here on Thursday.

In the recent past Compuware's India's operation has gained significant momentum with the company signing 25 new customers in the last six months including those from leading IT services organisation, said Bob.

Compuware was closely working with leading Indian IT companies like TCS, Wipro Technologies, Satyam Computer and Celerity Network to cater to the demands of the growing Applications Service Management Market in India.

Celerity Networks will distribute Compuware's leading Vantage suite of products. It will build unique solutions around Compuware's industry leading Vantage IT service management and Changepoint IT portfolio Management solutions. The partnership with Wipro Technologies aims at speeding up customer initiatives implementing Changepoint.

Outlining its product, Compuware Test Factory, he said it was an innovative quality assurance solution designed specifically for large testing service providers to industrialise their application testing operations.

Compuware also announced the expansion of its management team in India with the appointment of Hariharan Ganesan as Managing Director for India and SAARC.
