Calsoft sets up development centre in Shenzhen
Sensing the potential for growth in the Chinese market, Chennai-based software and product solutions company California Software Company (Calsoft) has set up its fifth development centre at Shenzhen.

KOCHI: Sensing the potential for growth in the Chinese market, Chennai-based software and product solutions company California Software Company (Calsoft) has set up its fifth development centre at Shenzhen.
Calsoft has selected Shenzhen in China as its centre because of advantages like proximity to Hong Kong and cheaper cost of operations than Shanghai and Beijing, said Calsoft CEO S Sam Santhosh. At present the company has development centres at Chennai, Bangalore, the US and the UK.
Calsoft had recently secured a $1-million order in China from consumer electronics products company Malata. The order is for providing software engineering solutions to products of Chinese company.
