NEW DELHI: Bharti Airtel today launched 'my airtel' app with which subscribers of any operator will be able to check outstanding bills, register complaints, activate or deactivate services and make payments for Airtel services.

Available at no additional cost, the app will allow Airtel customers across various services (mobile, fixed line and DTH) to check their outstanding bills, recharge their accounts and make payment among other services, Airtel said in a statement.

Further, using the app, Airtel digital TV (DTH service) customers would also be able to order movies and games without any assistance from the customer care, it added.

"Indian customers are increasingly accessing online content through apps as opposed to the conventional route of logging through browsers. In tune with these changes, 'my airtel' app has been designed to empower our customers and help them manage all their airtel services, effortlessly," Bharti Airtel President-Consumer Business K Srinivas said.

The usual download charges depending on the subscriber data connection will apply for downloading the application as well as accessing the application, it said.

For non-Airtel internet users, there will also be one-time SMS charge for authentication to their respective telecom operators, it added.
