But of late, hackers and miscreants have found this app quite handy to steal user's info.

Ideally, you should check any Google Calendar notification on your phone and think twice before clicking links. If you see any invite from an unknown sure, tread very carefully else you might lose your valuable data and become a victim of frauds.

How to stop Google Calendar Spam
Step 1: Open Google Calendar on your PC
Step 2: Click the cog (settings) icon and open Settings

Step 3: Then scroll down to Event Settings

Step 4: Find 'Automatically add invitations' tab and choose 'No, only show invitations to which I have responded'

Step 5: Now go to View Options and uncheck 'Show declined events'

Step 6: Now go to your Google Calendar app on phone and go to Settings
Step 7: Click General tag and deselect 'Show Declined Events'
This would prevent spams from flooding your notification box of your phone.
