Bajaao is launching music equipment rentals online, Furtados plans to bring music education app
Both Bajaao and Furtados host their products on online marketplaces but maintain that the discounting model is something they will keep away from

The platform that was already available offline, will initially be launched online in Mumbai before expanding to Bengaluru, Pune and New Delhi in three months. “Marketplaces have started selling music instruments, but we have grown 200% in the last few years. (we areoffering rentals) to expand our business,” said Suman Singh, CEO of Bajaao.com.
Mumbai-based Furtados is set to launch a music education app called ‘High’ by mid-November to help students choose from a large pool of teachers and monitor their music education regularly by assessing their practice sessions.
Joseph Gomes, director of Furtados Music, plans to enable sales through the app at a later stage. Both Bajaao and Furtados host their products on online marketplaces but maintain that the discounting model is something they will keep away from. “As soon as we see discounts on our products on these platforms, we withdraw them,” said Gomes.
